Due to continued growth within BKS we are seeking to recruit lawyers within 4 departments.

The positions are flexible hours, minimum 3 days per week.

Civil Litigation

5 years post-qualification experience solicitor/filex wanted to join litigation department working in tandem with department head.  Must be able to handle own caseload and work as part of a team and will often undertake a great deal of the detail work on cases.

Varied and busy case load and experience of contentious matters is an advantage.

Conveyancing (full-time role)

Thriving office in Rushey Green, SE6 requires fee earner to join established conveyancing department.

We are looking to recruit those responsible for running their own files – IT skills essential as case management system is in place and experience required:

- Sales, purchases and new mortgages for both freehold and leasehold
- Transfers of equity by gift and divorce
- Right to buy and right to acquire.

Probate department

Experienced private client lawyer required with experience of handling Wills, probate, estates, administration and advising on taxation liabilities and planning of IHTCGT.

Must also be interested in the active development of the department.

Family Law

Senior solicitor, ideally with panel membership, to manage and develop the caseload of predominately private client ancillary matters, co-habitation contact matters with some general public funded work.

The candidate will show strong negotiation skills and advocacy skills as well as excellent client care and sound financial management skills.
